Tinderbox Support
10/04/14The support I get from core members of the Tinderbox team: it is another reason I sided with the idea of keeping an XML database locally, uploading instances of it to the interweb.
Even if I make a poorly thought comment on how I can't figure something regarding Tinderbox on Twitter, and put it behind a hashtag, I usually have some kind of response from the lead developer.
Imagine you're an Apple user that twitters "What in the world is this grey apple icon for?", and then you get a reply, on Twitter, from Steve Jobs!?! And he's polite about it.
So, I announce this disaster of a website, and later get an email from Mr. Anderson.
As a writer and designer, I attach mythology to many things I see. And after today's email from Mr. Mark Anderson, I no longer see two "Marks", I see "Gemini". And I mean more in the way of "Thundarr the Barbarian" Gemini than the Greek myth Gemini. Though the difference might not be necessary.
I was falling asleep while trying to follow the online documentation.
At that point synchronicity struck somehow. I searched on the Tinderbox forums (I generally dislike forums), and found "linkTo(original)".
Here in Japan, it's getting quite late. I will probably post this tonight, but then wake up the next morning, change something and then repost.
10/06/22Consistent support from Mark Bernstein and Mark Anderson encourages me to continue my struggles with Tinderbox.
